Jennifer Rae Myers, PhD, MS, CCC-SLP is an accomplished clinical research scientist with over a decade of experience as a medical speech-language pathologist and research neuropsychologist. She currently serves as the Senior Product Manager at Musical Health Technologies, a pioneering digital health tech company. At Musical Health Technologies, Dr. Myers facilitates the development and implementation of SingFit, a therapeutic music digital platform aimed at enhancing cognitive and emotional health among older adults. Dr. Myers has made substantial scientific contributions as evidenced by her involvement in several large-scale research projects including a randomized control trial, Digital Multi-domain Lifestyle Intervention to Address Cognitive Health and Modifiable Risk Factors for Alzheimer's Disease (DC-MARVel), which was funded by the National Institute on Aging's Small Business Innovation Research Award. The study examined the effectiveness of a digital health coaching intervention for rural-residing individuals at-risk for Alzheimer’s disease. For her contributions, she was recently awarded the Early Career Contributions in Research Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Myers is deeply committed to social equity in the healthcare ecosystem. She actively addresses health disparities among marginalized priority populations nationally and internationally, leveraging digital health tools as a solution. Her commitment to inclusivity is demonstrated through her advisory board position on the PCORI-funded "Leaders in Designing Equitable Research Engagement through Servingness Project." Dr. Myers also co-directs "CulturallySMART," a virtual research mentorship program for underrepresented clinical graduate students in communication sciences and disorders, designed to foster clinical research skills and competency in multicultural issues.
