Emma is a Research Assistant in the Human Factors and Aging Lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She received a Bachelors of Science in Community Health, focusing on Rehabilitation studies and a minor in Psychology. Her work focuses on how technology can assist older adults aging with mobility disabilities to age successfully and maximize independence and autonomy. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology with hopes to bridge her love of psychology an aging research to look deeper into how technology can improve quality of life for our aging population, specifically those who have mental illness.
