Dr. Richardson achieved her BSc (Cum Laude) in Physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario, followed by her MD degree at McMaster University and MEd at the University of Toronto. In 1997, She joined the University of Toronto as faculty. Currently, she holds appointments as Associate Professor and Clinician Educator, Physiatry, Department of Medicine. She is also a Clinician Investigator at University Health Network-KITE Research Institute. Recently, she has also been appointed as a professor at Queen’s University and Head of the Department of PM&R at Providence Care Hospital. She holds various awards for her education and research. She is the first Canadian to win the American Association of Academic Physiatrists Innovation and Impact Award in Education.
