Natalie Kreitzer attended undergraduate and medical school at West Virginia University. She then completed a four year residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Cincinnati, followed by a T32 Neurocritical Care / Neurovascular Fellowship at University of Cincinnati. After graduating in 2017 from fellowship, she stayed on as Faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She received an NIH K23 award in 2021, studying an intervention she developed to promote well-being in family caregivers after moderate to severe TBI. When working clinically, she splits her time between the UC Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU), Emergency Department, and UC Stroke Team.
