Shangge Jiang is a second-year medical student at University of Toroto, Canada. She previously completed a Bachlor of Neuroscience from McGill university. Before medical school, she spent some time working in a remote region in the Yukon Territory, Canada. This experience sparked her interest in rural medicine and healthcare equity . Her previous volunteer and shadowing experience led to her interest in the field the physiatry. She is currently working on some research projects to deepen her understanding in this field.
