Jaewon Kang, Ph.D., MSOT, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Kinesiology & Community Health at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also works as a Research Assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Rural Health, Veterans Rural Health Resource Center-Gainesville. Dr. Kang completed her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science in 2023 at the University of Florida. She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Yonsei University in South Korea. Dr. Kang's research centers on environmental interventions utilizing mHealth technologies to facilitate aging in place for individuals living with disabilities.
