Sydney Carpentier is a PhD candidate in Dr. Ann Van de Winckel's Brain Body Mind Lab within the Rehabilitation Science PhD Program at the University of Minnesota. She is interested in learning how body awareness plays a role in pain reduction and sensorimotor function in adults with spinal cord injury. Her dissertation aims to develop and validate a novel mental body representation assessment for adults with SCI.
