Kaitlyn's interest in health care began while working as an activity aid and home health aid. Working with adults with dementia inspired her to persue a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Stonehill College. Here, she began her first research experience regarding neurological responses to emotional stress using electroencephalography. Kaitlyn assisted in this project as her doctoral capstone while in the Occupational Therapy program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She currently works full time as an Occupational Therapist in a rehabilitation setting.
