Charlie Kemp ( https://charliekemp.com ) is an associate professor in the department of biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech. Since founding the Healthcare Robotics Lab ( http://healthcare-robotics.com/ ) in 2007, his research has focused on enabling mobile manipulators to provide intelligent physical assistance to older adults and people with disabilities. Charlie earned a B.S., M.Eng., and Ph.D. from MIT. He also works part time at Hello Robot Inc., which he co-founded in 2017 to commercialize a mobile manipulator invented in his lab.
