Dr. Megan Hays is an associate professor and licensed clinical psychologist in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Dr. Hays received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation psychology in the UAB Heersink School of Medicine Department of PM&R. She is board certified in the specialty of rehabilitation psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is a fellow of the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. In addition to Dr. Hays’ clinical practice – which involves the psychological assessment and treatment of adults with a wide range of medical trauma – she serves as the Associate Director of Education for the UAB Medicine Office of Wellness. In this role she supports the UAB Medicine community by providing a variety of wellness services and developing wellness programming and resources for employees.
