Dr. Ronaldo Santiago, MD is presently the Director of Clinical Research at Meditech International, Inc., pioneering the use of Photobiomodulation Therapy and successfully commenced at least three new research projects in coordination with investigators from the University of British Columbia, McMaster and McGill University. He has designed study protocols, managed various ethics board applications, written and successfully submitted scientific manuscripts for publication, presented at international conferences, and has successfully managed a team of volunteer statisticians and research associates. His most recent publication dated October 26, 2022 was written to showcase the use of Photobiomodulation in neuropathic pain and improvement of scar tissue. He is actively involved in conducting clinical trials for the purpose of pursuing further indications for Photobiomodulation devices. The most recent clinical trial he is partaking in studies the impacts of photobiomodulation on objective physiological measures of brain function in patients with post-concussive syndrome.
