Integrated Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow

Joanie Huebner PhD completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas. She obtained her M.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and spent several years working in academic clinical research. She completed her doctoral internship at the Eastern Kansas VA Medical Center (Topeka, KS) and obtained her PhD in 2022. Her dissertation was "Cognition, Fatigue, and Health-Related Quality of Life in Multiple Sclerosis: Exploring the Role of Polypharmacy and Anticholinergic Medication Burden". She is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Psychology through the UMKC Department of Community and Family Medicine, located at University Health Lakewood Medical Center. She is a behavioral health consultant in the family medicine resident training clinic.
