I completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship in MS in 1991, became Director of the KU MS Clinic in 1991. Established the MS Achievement Center in 1997, which became the KU MS Center in 2015. Currently the Chief of MS and Neuroimmunology and Director of the KU Center for MS care at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I participate in numerous multi-center drug trials and also in investigator initiated research in Multiple sclerosis, particularly in cognition, rehabilitation and life-style modifications, and oxidative stress.
