As a licensed occupational therapist, I worked in adult and pediatric rehabilitation facilities for five years. I provided rehabilitation services to patients with neurological impairments or immune system disorders. Besides, I worked with children with developmental disorders, genetic diseases and neurological disorders.
I obtained my Master’s degree in February 2020 at Dong-seo University in Korea. Since August 2020, I have worked with Dr. Ickpyo Hong and have participated in his research projects, “Developing and comparing a cross-national disability measure for older adult populations across Korea, China and Japan” presides by National Research Foundation of Korea and “Development of cognitive assessment tool for Korean adult populations: Feasibility study” presides by Yonsei University Future Leading Research Initiative, Korea. Under Dr. Hong’s mentorship, I have been trained in a cross-sectional design (multivariate regression models, propensity score matching) and retrospective secondary data design (big data). I completed Basic statistics courses in Coursera provided by the University of Amsterdam and a manuscript reviewer course provided in Researcher Academy by the ELSEVIER. I've recently been working on the relationship between the amount of physical activity and the quality of life in the older adults. Also, I am studying the association of divorce on the use of medical services for married migrants.
