Dr. Tracey Colella is a clinician and scientist at the University Health Network/KITE/Toronto Rehabilitation’s Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Program. She is an Associate Professor in the Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. Dr. Colella's research interests build upon her clinical experience as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner. The overarching aim of her research is the design and evaluation of novel interventions that address sex/gender differences in order to optimize quality cardiac care outcomes. She has a specific focus on women's health, access to cardiac rehabilitation, high-risk surgical populations, the integration of peer support and digital health technology.
