As a researcher and rehabilitation physician, my areas of clinical interest are neurological rehabilitation, with expertise in inpatient rehabilitation for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and swallowing difficulty. Understanding animal models of traumatic brain injury and recovery, identifying blood-based biomarkers for TBI prognosis, and conducting clinical trials to assess the efficacy of robotic-assisted rehabilitation after stroke are my primary research interests. I am also interested in the kinematic and kinetic analysis of swallowing to improve the diagnosis and treatment of swallowing disorders.
