Dr. Isaac Tourgeman “DrT” is the Clinic Director at Goodman Center for Psychological Services. He is an Associate Professor at Albizu University Miami Campus. There, he is co-coordinator of the neuropsychology track and Faculty Advisor for the Neuropsychology Club. Dr. Tourgeman has also been an adjunct professor for the Master’s in Speech Pathology Program. He is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist by the Brain Injury Association of America and a member of multiple professional organizations including: National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), Hispanic Neuropsychological Society American and Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM). Dr. Tourgeman’s research interests lie in studying the utilization of technology in healthcare, evaluating the neuropsychological consequences of acquired brain injury (specifically traumatic brain injury and concussion), neuropsychological assessment in forensic settings, and role of acculturation in cognitive and emotional functioning. He is currently Primary Investigator in multicenter collaboration with MIT IMES. Dr. Tourgeman has also been a contributor for Psychology Today. Dr. Tourgeman is also staff psychologist at the Design Neuroscience Center with hospital privileges at Kendal Regional Medical Center and is Director of Neuropsychology at West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital.
