Katelyn Rand graduated from Colorado State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. In-between school and outdoor adventures, she worked as the first Student Disability Center Liaison with RamEvents to organize accessible events on campus. She also became a Research Assistant that helped a team investigate Intersectional Health Disparities and the relationship between Sex, Race/Ethnicity, and Sexual Orientation with Depressive symptoms. Since graduating, Katelyn has worked in numerous mental health facilities, including Tufts Medical Center’s former Children’s Hospital as a Mental Health Specialist and Emerson Hospital’s Adult Behavioral Health Unit as a Counselor. She enjoys working closely with patients and aspires to help others. After Katelyn’s time at Home Base, she hopes to continue down the path of Psychology and pursue further education in either Counseling or Nursing.
