Trisha Kot has the lived experience of caregiver of her son following traumatic brain injury. She serves as a lived experience consultant on a Department of Defense Grant on "Supporting Improved Clinical Decision Making in Severe Traumatic Brain Injury Through Greater Accuracy and Precision of Neurobehavioral Common Data Elements", and an American Occupational Therapy Foundation Grant on" Identifying Implementation Strategies to Facilitate Adoption of a Recovery Ruler in Clinical Practice.” She also serves as a Community Advisory Board Member of an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, R01, "Developing a Standardized Assessment for Relationship-Centered Shared Decision Making". Ms. Kot also served as a Care Partner Co-Investigator on the American Institutes for Research and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Grant, "No One Listens to Me".
