Director of the Serviço de Reabilitação de Adultos 3, Head of the Botulinum Toxin Clinics and the Gait Analysis Laboratory at the Centro de Medicina de Reabilitação de Alcoitão, Alcabideche – Portugal. He has served as a senior PM&R consultant since 2000 and is actively involved in research, peer training, pre and post-grad lecturing in different Universities in Portugal. He has published extensively on neuro-rehabilitation, botulinum toxin, movement/gait analysis, patient centered goals, outcomes in PM&R, and robotic management in PM&R. He is a member of the board of PMR of the College of Physicians of Portugal.
