Simon was awarded a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, where his research focused on the synthesis and application of precious metal complexes as protein inhibitors, specifically aimed at cancer treatment. Following his PhD, Simon served for a number of years as Head of Publications at Costello Medical Consulting, and as Managing Scientific Director. Currently, Simon is a Global Medical Affairs Director for paediatric spasticity with responsibilities for various activities and clinical studies.
