Natalie Gamble-Lamptey is the Clinical Compliance Coordinator for Penn Rehabilitation Medicine and Good Shepherd Penn Partners Specialty Hospital. In her role she supports the coordination of prospective payment system process; accountability for the collection and data entry of information related to CMS prospective payment system process & integrate information from Nursing, Social Services, Restorative Rehabilitation, and Physician Services to ensure appropriate compliance for services provided by the organization.
In conjunction with this Clinical Compliance, Natalie is also active in various hospital-driven initiatives groups including the Joint Commission Documentation Tracer Rounds and LTACH Utility Room Organization Team. She has even co-lead the inception of the Employee Flu-Vaccination Drive & served as a Clinical Team Member of the COVID Vaccine Drive.
Natalie has created and conducted unit based diabetes education sessions for nurse and CNAs.
She served as Co-Chair of the LTACH Unit Council & Nursing Professional Development. She is a current member of the GSPP Cultural Competence Committee.
In addition to providing direct patient/family care, she is providing services for community outreach programs, including senior groups, community center and homeless shelters with diabetes awareness education.
Natalie has implemented & evaluated various health promotion programs designed to benefit those who are underserved, and with special learning needs. Her programs included newly diagnosed, women whose pregnancies are complicated by diabetes, the uninsured and individuals with intellectual and development disabilities living in the community.
Natalie is an alumna of LaSalle University where she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she holds a Master of Public Health degree concentration in Community Health (MPH) and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health minor in Health Sciences(BSPH).
She is also a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist awarded by the credentialing body CBDCE and Mastered Certified Health Education Specialist awarded by NCHEC, the credentialing body for professional practice of Health Education
Natalie is an active professional member of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), and American Public Health Association (APHA).
