Naif Alrashdi is a faculty member in the physical therapy department in Saudi Arabia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Majmaah University (MU), Saudi Arabia. He received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Concordia University Wisconsin, United States. Recently, Naif completed his Ph.D. degree in rehabilitation science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, United States. His prior experience involved working as a teaching assistant in the Physical Therapy Department at MU. He also practiced physical therapy, delivering rehabilitation services to individuals with various musculoskeletal conditions (i.e., ACL, LBP, lower extremity disorders). Naif’s recent research has been nominated among the top 4 of Hip-Related research submissions by The Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (Spotlight on Hip Research; Combined Section Meeting, 2021). Currently, he is interested in examining Pre-and-Post Operative Pain and Physical Activity Levels as
well as Rehabilitation-Specific Factors (muscle strength and movement patterns) in individuals with Pre-Arthritic Hip Diseases (FAIS and AD). In his spare time, Naif enjoys outdoor walking, exploring new café and restaurants, and socializing with family and friends.
