With an education background spanning across China, Japan, and the US, I bring a diversified perspective to my work. As a clinician, I served as a speech language pathologist in medical settings, providing cognitive rehabilitation to adults who were suffering from acquired brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, my research focuses on understanding the functional communication outcomes after traumatic brain injury (TBI) and identifying effective approaches for supporting individuals with TBI to return to productivity.
