Richard has a professional background in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. He has taught at Victoria University of Wellington, Otago University, King's College London and Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Richard has a particular interest in psychometrics and the measurement of complex constructs in mental health and neurological rehabiliatation. He has expertise in classical test theory, Rasch analysis and network analysis. He is interested in the role of meditation in wellbeing and rehabilitation.
