Claire Marchetta, MPH, is the Research Liaison and Education Director at Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH). At CSH, Ms. Marchetta facilitates research projects across departments and institutions and supports clinicians and researchers in the development and implementation of research studies aimed at improving the lives of children with special health care needs. Before CSH, Ms. Marchetta served as an ORISE Fellow at the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she focused on the analysis of nationally representative datasets to identify risk factors for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Neural Tube Defects. Ms. Marchetta has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed journal publications and presented her research at professional conferences across the country. Ms. Marchetta completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Health in Global Epidemiology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
