Mr. Kim is a PhD candidate in the Rehabilitation and Participation Science PhD program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Yonsei University in South Korea. Mr. Kim has been trained in evidence synthesis, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses, focusing on interventions and measurements in the field of rehabilitation medicine. His current research is centered around two primary areas. Firstly, he explores the conceptualization and measurement of participation in rehabilitation, aiming to enhance our understanding of the complex and multi-faceted nature of participation. Secondly, he investigates the impact of biopsychosocial factors, such as cognitive, emotional, and environmental (or social) factors, on participation restrictions among individuals with neurocognitive disorders, including Parkinson's disease.
