Kirsten Smayda is an auditory cognitive scientist by training. Her research spanned the domains of healthy aging and music training and its impact on the brain. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Boston University. She received her Master's of Music in Music and Human Learning, and her PhD in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2018 she joined Pear Therapeutics as a Data Scientist. Kirsten is currently a Medical Science Liaison at MedRhythms.
