Karen Villanueva joined the faculty at Kean University as a lecturer in 2015 teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Mrs. Villanueva is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She specializes in working with adults with dysphagia, motor speech disorders, and voice disorders and holds Board Certification in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders. Clinically, Karen has worked extensively in acute care and served as the speech pathologist for the New Jersey Certified ALS Center from 2008-2016.
