Physiotherapist and Neuroscientist, Post-doctorate in Neurology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP), Doctor in Neurosciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Master in Physiotherapy (UNIMEP), Specialization in Neurological Physiotherapy (UNESA) and Neurophysiology (IBMR). In 2018 he performed Fellowship research at the Neuromodulation center at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (Harvard University, Boston, MA, USA). In 2020 and 2022 he made a technical visit for scientific cooperation at the Miller School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Neurology and Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital-The Miami Project to cure Paralysis (University of Miami, Miami, FL, USA). He was professor of the Physiotherapy course at the Federal University of Amazonas-UFAM (2010 to 2018). He is currently Professor of the Physiotherapy course at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). Leader of the study and research group in Neurorehabilitation and Neuromodulation - GEPENN at UFES. Permanent Professor of the Master's and Doctorate in Physiological Sciences (Neurosciences) (UFES). Permanent Professor of the Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). Professor (Teacher Assistant - I) of the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research program (HARVARD T.CHAN SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH). Interest in the themes: Epidemiology, functional outcome and intervention in patients with Traumatic Brain Injury and clinical research in Neuromodulation applied to neuromotor disorders.
