Dr. Tracy Chang joined UCLA Department of Neurology as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in 2022. She also holds joint appointment at California Rehabilitation Institute as a neurorehabilitation physician. She completed Neurology residency at the University of Colorado and Neurorehabilitation fellowship at UCLA. Her clinical interests include enhancing neurological recovery after stroke and brain injury and promoting community re-integration for patients with neurological conditions. She provides inpatient care on the stroke and neurological rehabilitation unit at California Rehabilitation Institute. She also practices neurology in the outpatient clinic setting. Prior to her medical training, she attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for college, then went on pursuing a Master in Health Management at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her focus in public health is quality improvement and patient safety in healthcare. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College, where she assisted in developing curriculum in quality and patient safety. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching crime drama, hiking and traveling.
