She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1992 as the third in the school and received the Student Science Encouragement Award. She completed his doctoral study on "Comparison of group and individual sensory perception motor integration training in children with cerebral palsy" in 1995 at Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2010. Between 2002-2006, she served as a Board Member of the Turkish Physiotherapists Association. She is a founding member of the Occupational Therapy Association; she has been working as a Board Member of the Occupational Therapy Association since 2006. She is the Turkey delegate of WFOT (World Federation of Occupational Therapists). She worked on international projects such as “Revision of the minimum standards of occupational therapy programs” and “Quality Indicators in Occupational Therapy” conducted by WFOT for the approval of occupational therapy training programs. The European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE) on occupational therapy theory and models, practice approaches, training of trainers in occupational therapy, and curriculum development in occupational therapy, by the European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE) in 2005, in Ankara in 2006, Bulgaria in 2008 and Latvia in 2009. She attended many courses organized in the form of daily programs and made clinical visits. As part of the Erasmus program, she participated in the faculty exchange program and clinical visits at Hoge School Van Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Completed many International Certified trainings such as Sensory Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive rehabilitation, ICF training, Tomatis auditory integration training, Creative skills training, Driver rehabilitation, DIR Floortime beginner training, Job preparation training for people with disabilities, Somatic Experimentation and Body awareness Training. she worked in many European Union Projects related to the social participation of the disabled, the elderly and children, assistive technology applications and universal design and gave lectures within the scope of the project. He served as the chairman and member of Hacettepe University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit Medicine and Health Sciences Subcommittee.
She was a member of the Health Sciences Education Programs Accreditation Board (SAK) and a founding member of the Health Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (SABAK). He is the editor and author of the books "Cognitive Rehabilitation Evaluation and Intervention Approaches", "Occupational Therapy Theories, Models and Practice Approaches", "Occupational Therapy in Children" and "Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy for Individuals with Cerebral Palsy".
She is the director of the Pediatric Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Unit. She teaches Occupational Therapy undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses at Hacettepe University. She carries out projects and scientific studies in the fields of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory integration, cognitive rehabilitation, music therapy, occupational therapy in schools, ergonomics, vocational rehabilitation and community-based rehabilitation.
