Dr. Marc Silva is a neuropsychologist and clinical researcher. His primary appointment is at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital. He also has an appointment as Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr. Silva is the Principal Investigator of the VA RR&D-funded study “Improving Sleep Apnea Treatment Adherence after Brain Injury: A Feasibility Study” and serves as the Site Co-Principal Investigator for the “VA TBI Model Systems” longitudinal study of rehabilitation outcomes following delivery of coordinated inpatient neurotrauma rehabilitation. He also serves as Site Co-Principal Investigator for the CARE-4-TBI study that is examining how to improve rehabilitation therapy documentation in electronic medical record systems to better identify which rehabilitation interventions are the most effective for which type of TBI patients and at what point in their course of recovery.
