Niharika Bansal is a graduate student at Georgia Institute of Science and Technology who is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. She is a Graduate Research Assistant at the SimTigrate Design Lab at Georgia Tech, where she uses her knowledge of data analysis to create data visualizations for various lab-conducted research. During her undergrad, she studied computer science and engineering in India. She likes to think of herself as a creative person, incorporating it into both her professional and personal life. She is a driven, creative thinker who has shown her ability to learn by producing meticulous work of a high caliber. She gained professional acumen during the two years she worked in the IT sector at DELL Technologies between her undergraduate studies and now at Georgia Tech. She is passionate about improving the healthcare experience and making it more accessible to the public. During her undergraduate studies, she won second place at a Poster Presentation competition for a device that can be used by varicose vein patients for easier detection of blood clots, which was one of her accomplishments. In her spare time, she enjoys sketching, trying quick recipes, and exploring new places.
