Samantha Stauffer is a practicing Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist with Independence Prosthetics-Orthotics, Inc. As their Director of Research, Samantha manages research collaborations with several University-based research labs and with the private sector. She is a third-year PhD student in Biomechanics and Movement Science with the Delaware Limb Loss Studies Lab, where her research focuses on understanding how health limits quality of life after amputation. She has presented her research nationally, and has been involved in over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific presentations.
