Natalie L. Smith is a fourth year medical student at the University of Washington. Her interests include neurocritical care, palliative care, and improving outcomes after critical illness for patients and families. She enjoys doing research on how physician communication in intensive care units impacts outcomes. She plans to apply to Neurology residencies on the East Coast during the 2023 cycle. When not in the hospital, she enjoys biking in Seattle and cooking herself elaborate dinners.
