Tertia Jeppson, M.A., CCC-SLP, CBIS is a Research Speech-Language Pathologist in the Center for Aphasia Research and Treatment at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRAlab). Tertia joined SRAlab in 2018 and worked clinically with adult patients who experienced acute or chronic neurological disorders at the DayRehab level of care until 2022. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communicative Disorders and from the University of Chicago with a certificate in Health Disparities Research. Her research interests include examining health disparities in rehabilitation, adult neurogenic evaluation and treatment, and interdisciplinary communication practices.
