Milly Rodriguez, OTR/L is currently a Clinical Instructor/Occupational Therapist at AdventHealth University and the Director of the Hope Clinic. Ms. Rodriguez has over 40 years of experience in clinical and educational settings. She began her career with AdventHealth University in 2015 as the primary clinician and instructor at the Hope Clinic, a no cost outpatient teaching clinic providing occupational therapy services to underserved patients in our community. Milly has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including mental health, pediatrics, inpatient and outpatient rehab, acute care, home health, skilled nursing facility, and lymphedema management. Her passion is to assist patients and caregivers to improve their quality of life and guiding young professionals on the practice and mission of occupational therapy. She graduated from University of Puerto Rico in 1981 with degree in Science/Occupational therapy. Additional specialty certifications on neurodevelopmental treatment for the treatment of adults and children, lymphedema management certification, sensory integration treatment, LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s Disease, TOPSEI Certification (Training for Occupational and Physical Therapists in Early Intervention, Myofascial Release, Fieldwork Education, Modalities Certification, and Kinesiology Tape for Special Populations.
