Inga Wang (former Ying-Chih Wang), Ph.D., OTR/L, is an Associate Professor with tenure at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences & Technology. Her primary research interest is the robotic-assisted rehabilitation of upper extremity function in stroke. She is interested in the efficacy and effectiveness of applying technology in stroke rehabilitation such as exoskeleton, telerehabilitation, and mainstream smart home technology. Additionally, she performs aging research analyzing aging trends, biomarkers, and risk factors and develops norms (reference values) across the life span using population-based samples. Selected reference values she published include the nine-hole peg test, grooved pegboard test, hand-grip strength, 2-minutes walk test, and cardiovascular biomarkers across the life span.
