Henry C. Hrdlicka, PhD, is the Director of Research at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare’s Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation Center for Research and Innovation. In this role, Dr. Hrdlicka is directing the research activities of the Milne Institute to advance its goals of establishing evidence based clinical practice guidelines to further improve patient outcomes and developing scientific and therapeutic breakthroughs. To accomplish this, Dr. Hrdlicka works with clinical investigators across the Gaylord Specialty Healthcare System to develop innovative, pragmatic, and multidisciplinary work with clinicians and other leaders in healthcare and academia. Prior to joining Gaylord Specialty Healthcare in September 2020, Dr. Hrdlicka completed his PhD research in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Connecticut at UConn Health, in Farmington Connecticut. There he studied the role of the microRNA-29 family in osteoclast and osteoblast biology. Prior to this position, Dr. Hrdlicka served as one of the Milne Institute’s Research Coordinators.
