Nazareth College Physical Therapy
Andrew Opett is a Clinical Professor and Department Chairperson of the Physical Therapy program at Nazareth College. He earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo (1996) and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College (2001). He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in August 2012. Dr. Opett teaches course content in Human Gross Anatomy, Differential Diagnosis, Medical Imaging and Pharmacology, and Musculoskeletal Management. He practices outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in the Rochester, NY area. He is board certifed as a clinical specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the
American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Dr. Opett serves as the Chair of the New York State Board for Physical Therapy.
