Medical Student
Central Michigan University College of Medicine
Camille Chan is a third-year medical student at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Global and Public Health Sciences from Cornell University. She is a co-leader of the Geriatrics and Community Health Student Interest Groups, as well as the school’s Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association chapter. Her current research focuses on healthy aging initiatives in rural populations and the quality of geriatrics competencies in medical education. Camille believes that exposure to geriatrics is necessary for every curriculum and would benefit students to learn about the rewarding aspects of the specialty. She has a passion for advocating for older adults and hopes to bring culturally competent care to the field as a future geriatrician.
