Director Healthcare Redesign

Dr Sarah Prior is the Director of Healthcare Redesign within the Tasmanian School of Medicine where she coordinates the post-graduate, workplace integrated healthcare redesign courses. Sarah’s research interests include health service improvement, with a focus on patient and family involvement and co-design and rural health service delivery. Sarah completed her postdoctoral studies at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School, developing stroke service delivery through co-led redesign. Sarah’s research has contributed to improving outcomes for patients in Tasmania across a variety of disciplines including stroke care, paediatrics, diabetes and maternity services as well as nationally based projects evaluating student and organisational experience in postgraduate healthcare redesign courses.
