Dr. Young is a board-certified neurologist currently completing her Fellowship in Neurorehabilitation at UCLA. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience and her MD from the University of Wisconsin – Madison before completing an internship with UCSF – Fresno Internal Medicine and her subsequent neurology residency at UCLA. She is broadly interested in studying the neuroplastic mechanisms that underly functional recovery in human subjects after neural insults such as stroke.
