Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Baker is an assistant professor of physical therapy at the University of Findlay. His scholarly interest includes perceptions of strengths and weaknesses of PTA to DPT transitional students, fall prevention in the geriatric population, and physical therapy interventions and outcomes following joint replacements among geriatric patients with different levels of medical complexity. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the secretary of the OTPTAT board for the state of Ohio physical therapy section, a member of the continuing competence committee for the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), and the president-elect for the OTPTAT joint board. He is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist. He earned his BS in applied health science at Bowling Green State University, MS in biomedical sciences with a focus on physical therapy at the University of Toledo, and DPT at Arcadia University.
